Lead Designer – Mobile, UX – YOUiLabs (Permanent or Contract Position)

- Design small to large-scale projects including interactive features for mobile devices including phones and tablets.
- Push the boundaries of what is possible to create better experiences for our users across all platforms.
- Provide direction and strategic vision for current and upcoming projects.
- Create wireframes and design for ultimate usability and experience.
- Executive all design stages from concept to completion and any necessary project maintenance.
- Stay abreast of best practices, best of breed sites and latest industry trends.
- Value strong visual design, pay fanatical attention to the details that distinguish between the mundane and delightful user experience.
- Create UI concepts that keep YOUiLabs a thought leader in mobile UI.

Desired Skills, Experience & Attributes
Qualifications:
- B.A. Design degree with an emphasis in graphic, interactive and multimedia design or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional design experience.
- Experience creating great user experiences for mobile applications.
- Experience in a lead role.
- Expert level proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Independent, motivated and self-sufficient creative professional.
- Self-starter, accustomed to leading projects with little supervision.
- Ability to bring a customer’s dream to life while incorporating your own ideas.
- Strong communication skills with experience in leading projects from pitch to presentation and concept to completion.
- Previous experience working with a cross-functional creative team.
- Strong UI experience is a huge plus.
